Meet Our Team

Dr. Ramana Appireddy is a Neurologist with over 10 years experience. He completed his Neurology residency in 2012 from the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences and then went on to finish a 2 year Stroke / Vascular Neurology fellowship at the prestigious Calgary Stroke Program, University of Calgary in 2016 where he was the Chief fellow. He also completed a Master's in Clinical Epidemiology at London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, University of London, UK in 2018.

He began his academic career as an Assistant Professor of Neurology in 2016 at Queen’s University and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2020. He established the Neurocentre of Eastern Ontario in 2024 with the goal to provide neurological consultation and outpatient neurology services in Kingston & surrounding areas.

He is a successful researcher and won multiple internal and external grants during his tenure at Queen’s University He has also participated in multiple landmark clinical trials like ESCAPE, AcT, POINT, TEMPO-2 that were pivotal in transforming stroke care in Canada and beyond. He has also extensively published.
